July 1, 2026 by

The warm aroma of freshly baked oats mingling with the sweet scent of blueberries fills your kitchen, creating an inviting atmosphere. Blueberry Jam Protein Baked Oats is a delightful blend of wholesome ingredients that takes just about 40 minutes to prepare and bake. This recipe works beautifully to deliver a nutritious, satisfying breakfast option that doesn’t skimp on flavor.

Perfect for breakfast lovers, athletes, or anyone looking for a healthy sweet treat, this dish can be enjoyed any day of the week. Feel free to make it ahead of time for a quick morning meal or snack; simply store it in the fridge for optimal freshness.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • A perfect balance of creamy yogurt and chewy oats creates an irresistible texture.
  • Each bite bursts with juicy blueberries that add natural sweetness.
  • Protein-packed ingredients make it a filling and energizing breakfast option.
  • It’s easy to prepare in a single ramekin, minimizing cleanup time.

What You’ll Need

Gather the following ingredients for a delicious start:

For the Oats

  • ¼ cup rolled old fashioned oats
  • ⅓ cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 3 tbsp liquid egg whites
  • 15 g vanilla protein powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp baking powder

For the Blueberry Filling

  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Swerve

Use fresh blueberries if preferred.

Topping

  • Mixture of granular and brown Swerve

Substitutions & Swaps

  • Greek yogurt can be replaced with any nonfat yogurt.
  • Almond milk can use regular milk or another plant-based milk.
  • Swerve can be substituted with any sugar alternative.
  • You can use maple syrup in place of Swerve if desired.

How to Make It

Create this delicious dish in just a few simple steps!

Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a 10 oz. ramekin with nonstick spray.

Blend the ingredients

Toss all of the ingredients for the oats in a small blender. I love my Nutribullet blender for my overnight oats; it is the perfect size, easy to clean, and can literally blend anything! Set aside.

Prepare the blueberry filling

Heat up a small saucepan over medium heat. Add in all of the ingredients for your blueberry filling (blueberries, vanilla extract, and Swerve). Slightly smash some of the blueberries. Continue to heat until bubbling and then remove.

Combine and bake

Pour your oat batter into the greased ramekin. Next, pour your blueberry filling in the middle of your batter. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. I stick around the 25-minute mark because I do like mine to be a little gooey!

Add the topping

Top your baked oats with a mixture of the granular and brown Swerve to get that sugar donut topping. Serve & Enjoy!

How to Store It

Fridge: Up to 3 days in an airtight container.
Freezer: Yes, for long-term storage.
Reheat: Microwave for 30-45 seconds until warm.

Tips for Best Results

  • Use frozen blueberries to save time on preparation.
  • Adjust baking time if you prefer a firmer texture.
  • Be careful not to overheat the blueberry filling to maintain their juiciness.
  • Experiment with different protein powder flavors to customize your oats.

Serving Suggestions

  • Serve with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup for added sweetness.
  • Pair with fresh fruit or nuts for an extra layer of texture.
  • Enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea for a balanced breakfast.
